Staying on Course in an Ocean of Fake Content
Wednesday July 29, 2026 8:50am - 9:50am CDT
In an era where AI-generated content makes it easier than ever for misinformation to "sound right," the ability to verify information quickly is a critical survival skill for both teachers and students. This session introduces lateral reading, a strategy to investigate claims by looking across the web rather than going down the rabbit hole from a single source. We will explore resources that show students and adults how to navigate the increasingly unverified digital landscape with confidence.
