Katie is a Google for Education Certified Innovator and Education Trainer, she uses her passion for technology to teach and engage students and teachers. Her role as a District Technology Integration Specialist and former business teacher in Seymour has exposed her to many new trends in technology as well as the demands of what business is looking for in employees. She led the way for her school district to use Google Apps for Education as well as purchased and is utilizing over 900 chromebooks and 100 Promethean Boards. She has served on the board for Wisconsin Business Education Association and is the 2013 Wisconsin K-12 Outstanding Business Education Teacher, as well as the 2012 Wisconsin Outstanding Future Business Leader of America (FBLA) Adviser. In 2015 she was honored to be selected for Future Business Leaders National Adviser Wall of Fame. In 2011 she was recognized at Partners in Education-Teacher of Distinction.
