Storytelling doesn’t have to stay on paper. In this hands-on session, teachers will explore how Scratch can transform storytelling into an interactive experience where students become creators, not just consumers. Participants will learn how simple coding blocks can help students build funny, engaging stories while reinforcing concepts from ELA, math, science, social studies, and multilingual learning. By combining creativity with basic programming, educators can help students take ownership of content, deepen understanding, and express their ideas in new ways. Teachers will leave with simple strategies and starter code they can immediately use to bring coding and storytelling into any classroom.
